The department is the second of our 'Specialist Status' subjects. Additional funding has provided two dedicated ICT classrooms for the department.

We believe that regular exercise is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle and that enjoyment, self discipline, knowledge and physical skill can be encouraged.

Our mission is to provide a high quality science education for all students, leading to achievement and excellence for all.

The History department currently consists of four Historians. The department is very successful with a large uptake of students for GCSE courses.
